DR. VIKAS DESAI
is a qualified and experienced personnel in Public health, community Nutrition and Reproductive and child health and has 38 years in public health teaching & training to Medical, Health, Nutrition & Public health engineering students, in service candidates and faculty. She has served as Additional Director (FW), Director RCH for 5 year at state level and has actively participated in community level trainings and advocacy process. She is a member of editorial board of Text book on “Environmental Epidemiology" World Health Organization. She has several national and international publications to her credit and has designed and implemented various state level child health programs like Nirogi Bal, MAMTA Abhiyan, MAMTA Taruni, IMNCI, Balsakha, Integrated Nutrition program.She is a founder secretary of Urban Health Society of India. At UHCRC, she is focusing on various studies on health vulnerability on climate change, heat effect on all cause mortality and development of training manuals for Urban Planners in relation to climate change.

DR. SURESH KUMAR RATHI
is an Alumni of The Aga Khan University. Prior to working with UHCRC he was associated with Centre for Global Health Research (CGHR) Bangalore as a Senior Medical Researcher and looking after Million Death Study. He was associated as a faculty member in the Department of Community Medicine of the various Medical Colleges in India. He has over 12 plus years of varied professional experience, including Senior Program Officer with the International Clinical Epidemiology Network (INCLEN) New Delhi, and has published extensively on many topics of public health, including tuberculosis, tobacco, and diabetes.     is an alumni of Institute of Health Management Research Jaipur and has public health management has her core subject. She has worked with Government of Gujarat-National Rural Health Mission as District Programme Coordinator -Kheda (1 Year), Corporation Programme Coordinator -Surat Municipal Corporation (6 Months) and District Programme Coordinator -Surat (2 months).     MR. KAUSTUBH PARIHAR
    had completed his masters in planning from school of planning and architecture, New Delhi in 2015 and Bachelors of Civil engineering in 2013. He is currently working on vulnerability assessment to climate change impact, air pollution studies, and infrastructural assessment.

    SHANMUGA PRIYA T
    is a Social Work post graduate from Chennai. She is also a certified (by IIM Kozhikode and British Council) Master Trainer in Social Entrepreneurship for Young Women. As a Social Researcher, she has worked on policies and budgets while working with institutions like Social Watch Tamilnadu in Chennai and Centre for Budget and Policy Studies in Bangalore. She has worked with BREADS Bangalore and managed the Child Rights project - CREAM (Child Rights Education and Action Movement) looking after its operations and directing the programme activities in consultation with the larger CREAM team, along with the Communications. Her experience sprawls across various sectors including children, women, education & budget analysis. She regularly writes for websites on policies, social issues, and for a tabloid called 'Conversations Today', on social initiatives/social entrepreneurs. In the past she worked and interned with various grassroot organisations to gain in-depth knowledge of the development sector and experience on the same.

    MR. ANUJ GHANEKAR
    has done his masters in social anthropology from University of Pune. He has worked as Project Coordinator at YashvantraoChavan Development academy of administration -Pune for a span of one year. Anuj is passionate about qualitative research, involving local community in action research and exploring the linkages of urban culture with climate change and health development. Currently he is working on piloting the project called “Building Community Resilience”

    has graduated in Computer Applications from Surat. Interested in numbers and the stories behind them, she set on to explore data entry (primary and secondary) and the ensuing analysis. She joined UHCRC as a Data Entry Operator in 2014.
